Hello and welcome to my portfolio! I'm Shivam Thorat, a dedicated Computer Engineering student with a passion for software development and creative problem-solving. Currently pursuing my Bachelor's at PVG College of Engineering, I've already made significant strides, completing a diploma in Computer Engineering with an impressive 83.03% grade.

Our journey to winning the 1st prize at Gagnant 2k24 has been both exhilarating and rewarding. We're proud to have stood out among other projects with our innovative approach to an otherwise conventional topic. Creating a user-friendly website for teachers and students was just the beginning; our mobile app took convenience to the next level, simplifying lecture attendance with a tap. This recognition reaffirms our belief in the power of creativity and reinforces our commitment to making meaningful contributions to education. With this momentum, we're eager to continue pushing boundaries and making a lasting impact on the educational landscape.

Our project enhances online attendance tracking with a secure system: teachers generate a 4-digit OTP for each class using a web platform. Students have 15 seconds to enter this OTP to be marked present, ensuring accurate attendance. We developed a mobile app in XML and Java for easy OTP entry, and all records are saved in PDF format for easy access by teachers. This system makes attendance quick, secure, and user-friendly for both teachers and students.
